How much does it cost to incorporate a company in Spain?
The cost of setting up a company includes some fixed elements, such as registration fees, and other variable elements, such as lawyer and notary fees. To incorporate a limited company, the first initial cost will be the minimum capital required. Anyone wishing to incorporate a limited company in Spain must deposit a minimum of 3,000 euros in a Spanish bank account. There will also be registration fees to be paid at the Mercantile Registry. A negative certificate of company name will cost 13.52 euros + VAT. The final registration will cost between 40 and 100 euros, depending on where the company is located.
Other nominal fees may apply, such as those related to obtaining the NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjero), digital certificate, etc. The processing fee for a NIE is 10-15 euros, depending on how it is obtained (i.e. in Spain or abroad). The digital certificate will cost 14 Euros + VAT
The biggest cost will be for services which will vary depending on who you hire. These services include hiring someone who can draft the partnership deed. This can cost between 300-1000 euros.
